Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. How do I restore my purchases?

If you have previously purchased a lifetime plan or an active subscription and changed devices or reinstalled the app, you can restore your access at any time:

  1. Open Body Temperature App.
  2. Go to Settings (or tap the Premium upgrade button).
  3. Tap Restore Purchases.
  4. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. StoreKit will automatically verify and restore your active entitlements.

2. How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

All subscription purchases and billing are managed directly by Apple. To cancel or modify your subscription:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your Apple ID name at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select Body Temperature from your active subscriptions list.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial) and confirm.

Note: Please cancel at least 24 hours before your current subscription or trial period ends to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle by Apple.

3. Where is my health data stored? Is it private?

Your privacy and health information security are our top priorities:

  • On-Device Storage: All temperature logs, vitals, symptoms, and personal notes are stored locally on your device.
  • iCloud Sync: If you enable iCloud sync, your records synchronize securely across your personal Apple devices using Apple CloudKit via your private iCloud account.
  • No Developer Servers: We do not operate external or proprietary servers to collect or store your health records. Your health data is never uploaded to developer servers, never sold, and never used for advertising or marketing.

4. How do I export my records to CSV or PDF?

You can easily export your temperature logs to share with your physician or archive for your records:

  1. Open Body Temperature App and navigate to the History or Records tab.
  2. Tap the Export icon or access Export from Settings.
  3. Choose your desired format (CSV for spreadsheets or PDF for a formatted report you can share with your doctor).
  4. Select the date range and tap Export to save the file or share it via email, Messages, or AirDrop.
